Isolation for a specific number of days following exposure or infection with COVID-19 is no longer mandatory.
However, in any situation where infection with COVID-19 or another respiratory virus is suspected, three actions are recommended:
1. If a fever is present, stay home until it is gone.
2. If you have a cough, sore throat, or nasal congestion, wear a mask until the symptoms disappear.
3. For the first 10 days after the onset of symptoms, avoid contact with vulnerable people and non-essential social events.
However, it is strongly recommended that you wear a mask in public places.
